Court Stops EFCC From Arresting, Prosecuting Odili- From  Mebrim Uchechukwu, Abuja-

A Federal High Court in Abuja has stopped the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) from arresting, detaining, prosecuting or embarrassing former Rivers State Governor Dr. Peter Odili in relation with alleged N189m debt he owed the troubled Finbank Plc. Besides, Odili secured order of the Court that his property in any part of the country must not be trespassed upon by the anti graft body and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) or any of their agents for the purpose of realizing any security for the indebtedness to the bank. . details
