Amnesty: We Would Not Extend Time ~FG-By Wilson Uchendu

Information reaching our news-desk has revealed that the Federal Government may not extend the time of the amnesty programme despite pleas from stakeholders mainly Niger Delta militants. A source quoted the Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Amnesty and Disarmament for militants in the Niger Delta and Minister of Defence, Gen. Godwin Abbeh as saying that the agitators for extension of the amnesty programme are merely wasting their precious time and dissipating energies.. details
